Acclaimed as Archon of the N&H National Sector Party in Elluenuueq (10.III.1694 AN), a title disputed with Adam al-Osman. Personal life

Childhood

Kamilla's parents were refugees from eastern Normark. They were born in 1600, and grew up during the disintegration of the Norse state and grew up in abject poverty. By 1615, they had managed to secure residency in the now Natopia-controlled Elijah's Rest, the only part of Normark with a secure and stable government. Kamilla's parents, teenagers when they met one another, were unable to enter even upper secondary education, and found employment as teenagers as cleaners at a hospital. In 1623, they married, and had four children over the next ten years: Esbjørn (1624), Torben (1626), Ingrid-Maria (1629), and Kamilla, the youngest in 1631.

Her parents instilled in their daughter a sense of egalitarianism of which no class of people were better than others. Instead, they taught her that all people, if working and productive, are part of what makes society work. They, as cleaners, were no less important in the hospital than the top surgeon. They both had jobs to do, and were either of them not performing their contractual obligation, then the hospital would not function. Without cleaning, no surgeries. Without surgeries, no hospital. In such an upbringing, Kamilla and her siblings had any pretences of royal flummery, nobility or social hierarchy stomped out. Kamilla regards her childhood as happy, and even if the family grew up poor, it was nothing that she quite remembers. "We always had what we needed, and more so," she once told a journalist. "My father used to give me books whenever he could." She dreamt of becoming a doctor, as she enjoyed hearing the stories from her parents about how doctors helped others and saved their lives. She particularly wanted to become an orthopaedic specialist, as she found the idea of fixing bones straight-forward.

She was never to start high school. In the autumn of Frederik Haabye Truls, eleven years Kamilla's senior, had found himself an exchange student at the University of Konungsheim. He had wanted to explore more of his parents' native land. One day, he saw Kamilla sitting in a café with friends. He knew then that he wanted to marry her. He simply walked up to her and said in an Elw-accented Norse, "I find you very beautiful, I should very much like take you out for dinner tonight."

This was the first man who had shown any kind of interest in Kamilla. She was not considered a beautiful child, and she had been mocked for her nerdy, bookish looks. She had braces along her teeth, and wore ill-fitting glasses (as they were cheap and the only ones her parents could afford). She was taken by Frederik's proposal, and readily accepted. She did not even tell her parents about her upcoming date that night.

Once the evening arrived, she met Frederik in a fancy restaurant in central Elijah's Rest. She had never been in an establishment as grand as this one, and felt like she owed this handsome young man, eleven years her senior, some kind of loyalty for his attention. Throughout the semester, they met more and more often, deepening their relationship. Kamilla found Frederik a knowledgeable man, with a peculiar sense of humour. When it was time for Frederik to return to his homeland Elwynn (he had lab work related to his dissertation to perform and then the write-up to do before his graduation), he told her that he wanted to marry her and take her to Elwynn with him. Kamilla objected to him for the first time in her life. She felt the proposal was unrealistic, as such marriages would be illegal in Normark. After listening to Frederik's rebuttal that such a marriage would be legal in Elwynn, where the age of majority had, since the advent of Vanic Elwynn, been set at 13, she would even be two years older than the minimum age, Kamilla agreed.

She knew well that her parents would disagree. She hadn't even told them about Frederik. Frederik, with help of the Storish consul in the city, secured a Storish passport for Kamilla for the purpose of travelling. The passport stated that Kamilla's name was "Sigrid Hákansdóttir" and that she was from Østfold. With this fake passport, she managed to immigrate to Elwynn without any troubles as part of the great Vanic immigration. Her parents, unbeknownst to the events, reported her missing. Once she had married Frederik legally in Eliria, she contracted her parents to tell them the "good news". Enraged, the parents flew to Eliria, using up their last savings, to bring Kamilla home. When they met Frederik, however, he did not appear like the every-day Froyalanish child abuser (as the rumour about Storish men had it), but seemed to be an intellectual and kind man not at all Froyalanish in his ways. That Frederik was a member of the anti-Froyalanish Nationalist and Humanist Party comforted them. They left Eliria after a few weeks content that Kamilla would now achieve a standard of living they would never have been able to provide for her. Frederik would also send them a small pension every month to show his loyalty to his parents in law.

In Elwynn, Kamilla found herself in awe. She quickly learnt Elw through watching Elwnet in the mornings. In the afternoons, her husband expected her to be a housewife and prepare for his arrival home from work. It was not long before she was pregnant, and on 23.VII.1646, she gave birth to her only child and daughter, Jael Jemima Truls. The birth was traumatic for Kamilla. Her not-fully developed body was not prepared for it. The many complications completely destroyed Kamilla's chances of ever having more children.
