His uncle who also faced a similar issue when he was younger took Yewsmikel as his own and raised him, bringing him back to Belaov and registering him for Belaov High School.

At Belaov High School, Yewsmikel joined the football team and won the championships in his first season and was immediately regarded as a natural talent, he became internet famous after videos of his freekick in the final circulated the internet. After he graduated, Yewsmikel was approached by a scout from Belaov Treble to ask him to join the club.

Yewsmikel made 12 appearances out of a possible 30, recording 2 goals and 7 assists and was even nominated for Young Player of the Season. In the 2015-16 season, Yewsmikel missed 6 games after suffering an ankle injury at the end of the season. There were reports of a loan move to Trifold Football Club during his rehabilitation and for match fitness but the move didn't materalise and Yewsmikel continued starring for the club after he made a full recovery.

Following the win, he confirmed his departure from the club on mutual agreement after Sancrus FC reached out to both the club and his agent about their interest.
