Jeremy Hart, more commonly known as King Jeremy I or Sahib Jahandar Khan founded the Kingdom of New Brittania on the 10th August 2005 after spending a few days as a citizen of the Kingdom of Lovely. He found Lovely to lack direction and so broke off to find his own way in the Micronational world.
New Brittania and its King took several months to establish itself after having trouble locating other nations, in October 2005 however Jeremy stumbled upon New Oscland, who introduced him to many of the nations New Brittania considers as allies today.
Soon after this King Jeremy founded the Commonwealth of Micronations (CWOM) which was designed to act as a treaty organisation between New Brittania and her allies. However, within days a rift formed between CWOM and the CIS which resulted in the member nations of both organisations separating into two and several heated arguments took place over the weeks that followed.
Hart had formed a personal friendship with the president of Chi Nam, Hieu, who was also a member of CWOM. This resulted in the foundation of New Brittania Broadcasting which still exists today, the first broadcast came in the form of NBBC Radio 1 which ran for 4 hours a day for a week before audience numbers dwindled. Technical difficulties soon meant that NBBC Radio One was forced off the air for several months before a Citizens Broadcast radio was acquired and the stations transmissions were resumed.
In early 2006 New Brittania was joined by a new colony in the form of its former ally Chi Nam which was renamed New South Vietnam. Jeremy became King of this new region and was until he died, the leader of a collection of colonies which make up the New Brittania Empire.
In June 2006 King Jeremy began another nation in addition to New Brittania, The United Christian States, which was designed as a fake nation which was to join the CIS and spy on its members. This however went wrong when the CIS rejected UCS which as a consequence became an ally of another religious state, Matbaa. By becoming friendly with Matbaa (a CIS member) it was hoped that the CIS could be persuaded to let UCS join, which again didn't go to plan.
UCS was then left in the care of the New Brittania secret service which observed Matbaa closely for several months before the Circum Raynor war broke out and the UCS project was bought to a close.
During the above said war Hart found himself in a recwar for the first time, and like many other of his micronational activities this didn't go to plan. New Brittania suffered heavy casualties while King Jeremy struggled to fight a war and revise for exams, both of which ended positively in the end when New Brittania found herself on the winning side after switching to The Grand Commonwealth's side at the last minute.
After this King Jeremy continued to work on New Brittania which improved greatly as time went on and on the 10th of August 2006 New Brittania celebrated its first anniversary of independence. On Christmas day 2006 Jeremy made an attempt to leave micronations after being assassinated, however this attempt at leaving failed and after a few hours he returned as "The Ghost of King Jeremy" who could be found on various micronational forums in the early weeks of 2007. However even death didn't prevent Jeremy from being involved in New Brittania during this time which has become known as "The age of the two Princes" due to the instability of the government of the nation at this time. Pained by the lack of activity in the nation he had worked so hard to create Jeremy returned to Micronations full time, taking the New Brittanian throne as King Jeremy II whos reign continues to this day.
In addition to his work in New Brittania, Jeremy is also involved in The Grand Commonwealth under the name Sahib Jahandar Khan. After a time as delegate for Karnali Sahib became Khan of Nea Hestia and Alkhiva, a Khanate of the Kingdom of Babkha.
