History
The team was founded in late 2018 after the Iron Cult's Micrasian claim was successful. They first competed in the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, where they finished bottom of their five-team group after losing all eight of their matches. Soon afterwards, the team competed in the 2019 Emerging Nations Cup, losing their quarter-final 2–1 to Incontinentia. The Iron Cult left Micras in late 2019 before returning again shortly afterwards.
During the 2020 qualifiers, the Iron Cult joined with Alperkin to form the Bassarid Periphery, with each constituent nation retaining its separate FMF membership.
