Grey Castle, or Huise Castle, is a Jingdaoese prison complex located on Silent Lake near Daocheng in the Zhijin Province. The prison served as a leper colony during the Shirerithian era. All the sick, and even elderly who were suspected to be ill, were gathered in the castle complex. In the early days of the Kildarian plague, attempts were made to find a cure for those who were imprisoned within the compounds. Later - with the increase of patients and lack of funds - it increasingly became a scientific testing facility which ignored the well-being of the patients, who more and more became test subjects.

After the annexation of Kildare into Jingdao, the castle was closed and fell into disrepair, until it was re-used by the Sheng Emperor to lock up political prisoners before their trial started. It's well known for having held the alleged murderers of Ming Wei, who died under suspicious circumstances in their jail cell before they were interrogated.
