The Holy Party of the Divine Icebear is an Elwynnese theocratic party affiliated with the Holy Church of the Divine Icebear. Historically, it has had an alliance with the Verionist Union. Its headquarters and main areas of support are found Cimmeria.
Its main policies are the establishment of the theocratic realm in Cimmeria. It is deeply conservative. It is also a voice for Cimmerian culture, language and rights, and has a voting record for protecting minority languages and giving cultural and educational autonomy to minorities (e.g. their own curriculum, hospitals, etc.).
It has a somewhat sizeable support from outside the rank of the Church as a "protest party". As such, its representation is sometimes larger in the Elwynnese congress and in bailiwick assemblies than the membership of the church would suggest.
Since the 1676 "Verionist peace agreement", the Party has toned down its activies outside Cimmeria.
