The Hasani National Council (Hasani: Hasanistan Ulusal Konseyi, Šlovedk:, Corian: Hasanski Državni Konzil) is a Hasani political coalition in Krasnarus, led by Ümit Çakar. The HNC is a united front of various Hasani separatist and pro-autonomy groups and activists, as well as some Coriak and Nogan groups and activists.

Due to being a big tent coalition and having members of various ideological leanings, the Hasani National Council does not have a central ideology outside of promoting minority rights for the Hasani and Muslim minorities. The Hasani National Council faced little infighting and all constituent organizations strongly co-operated with each in the political arena during most of its existence until elements within the party split and established the Republican Liberation Party of Hasanistan.

History

On 22 September 2018, the Krasnarusyn Democratic Hasani Movement, the Rights and Equality Party and elements of the Independent bloc split from the Hasani National Council and merged into a single party known as the Republican Liberation Party of Hasanistan. Aykut Kökgül, the leader of the Rights and Equality Party and one of the major figures behind the move, cited the submissive attitude of Ümit Çakar and the rest of the Hasani National Council's government towards the Krasnarusyn government as a reason for the split. The incident regarding the separation of the Republican Liberation Party has caused a crisis within the party.

Organization

List of constituent organizations

The largest groups within the Hasani National Council are the Independent bloc (which contains all members unaffiliated with a constituent organization), the Krasnarusyn Democratic Hasani Movement and the Democratic Action Party. All other organisations within the coalition are relatively small.
