The Hamland Premier League was the Hammish professional league for association football clubs. It was the country's primary football competition. Contested by 12 clubs, 10 clubs were Hamland (or Hammish Territories) based and, since 2009, 2 were from New Vaduz.

The Premier League was a corporation in which the 12 member clubs act as shareholders. Seasons ran all year long, with the exception of the time when the World Cup took place, with teams playing 22 matches each, totalling 264 matches in the season. Most games were played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings.
