The Hamland Football Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the Hamland Cup, was a knockout cup competition in Hammish football. All clubs in the Hamland Premier League were automatically eligible, and New Vaduzian sides that play in the Hammish League were eligible too. The competition was a knockout tournament with pairings for each round drawn in an order that followed last HPL positions. The draw determined which teams will play at home.

Structure

The General Structure of the Cup is this:

First Leg:

Game A: 5th vs. 12th; Game B: 8th vs. 9th; Game C: 6th vs. 11th; Game D: 7th vs. 10th

Quarter-Finals:

Game 1: Winner A vs. 2nd; Game 2: Winner B vs. 3rd; Game 3: Winner C vs. 1st; Game 4: Winner D vs. 4th

Semi Finals:

Game X: Winner 1 vs Winner 2; Game Y: Winner 3 vs Winner 4.

Final:

Winner X vs Winner Y

Each tie is played as a single leg. If a match is drawn, there is a replay, usually at the ground of the team who were away for the first game. Drawn replays are now settled with extra time and penalty shootouts.
