During Elwynn's Vanic era, Froyalanish-produced television series, termed "Elwynnese Commons" by the Froyalanish government were made popular among the Elwynnese population. Although the popularity was not, as the Vanic elite intended, to stimulate a sense of adoration for King Noah and the Vanic revisionism of Elwynnese history, they became popular, especially among the youth of the nation, for their perceived tackiness and source of memes.

The Saint

The Saint is a TV series where Duke Harald deals with threats to his Ducal Realm, including the brutal suppression of the Brotherhood of Lest as well as making short work of various other thugs and bandits.

The Falcon and the Lioness

The Falcon and the Lioness is an elwnet series about the love story between the Lady Esther Ayreon-Kalirion and the Storjarl Hallbjörn Haraldsson.

No Regrets

No Regrets is an Elwnet series about the reign of the Baron Ardashir.

The Legend of Tuuler

The Legend of Tuuler is an Elwnet series about the life of the Lady Tuuler Kalir.

The Legend of Björka

The Legend of Björka is an Elwnet series about the life of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir.

Knights in Shining Armour

Knights in Shining Armour is an Elwnet series about the Elwynns Riddare and their heroic fight against Raynor I.

The Legend of Esther

The Legend of Esther is a series distributed via the Elwnet about the life of the Lady Esther Ayreon-Kalirion. The first series received a generally negative reception but avoided cancellation owing to royal patronage. Improved characterisation and a change of actress in the title role led to an increase in audience figures. Critical opinion remains divided.

The Duel of Princes

The Duel of Princes is an Elwnet broadcast pulp serial about the antagonisms within the the Kalirion Family that gave rise to the Coordinated State. Specifically the series focuses on the frustrations of Daniel Simrani-Kalirion in trying to rule the Elwynnese Union whilst serving, however nominally, the errant and wandering Prince Nathaniel.

The first season of the series was broadcast on the Elwnet under the title of The Same Old Story. This name was changed after the producers received a visit from Isabella Simrani-Kalirion, who now acts as a consultant and non-executive producer for the show. An experimental live performance of the 39th episode was notoriously interrupted by an Elfinshi Fury activist breaking on to set and stabbing the actor who played Tokaray al-Osman.

Production of the fifth season is currently on hold whilst the scripts are re-written and negotiations with the cast and crew, who are now demanding 'danger money', are ongoing.

The Wonder Years

The Wonder Years is a TV series about the 1st Babkhan Era. The wonder was that the show ever got commissioned after its woeful pilot episode - The Torturer's Apprentice.

The Iron Brigade

The Iron Brigade is a TV series about the War of Jeremy's Nose.

The Most Glorious War

The Most Glorious War is a TV series about the War of Vengeance.

Hertug Haraldsmál

Hertug Haraldsmál is a TV series about the Elwynnese exploits of Harald of Froyalan up to and through his Ducal Reign.

Tuuler and Björka in the 25th Century

Tuuler and Björka in the 25th Century is a TV series about Tuuler Kalir and Björka Hnossdóttir who have both, due to a freak time mishap, ended up in 25th Century Elwynn - a blasted wilderness and wasteland infested with Zombots, revenants and myriad mutated abmoninations, where the human population, outside of a few utopian cities ruled by the perpetually naive Congress of Rics, has dwindled away in the face of a nameless and unspoken catastrophe.

Bravely, the intrepid duo attempt to shake the degenerate heirs of humanity out of their languid fatalist torpor and to revive in them a love of the (silent and forgotten) old gods and a will to once more assert the long vanished human supremacy over Micras.

For a story about two essentially Froyalanish folk-heroines, the show has proved remarkably popular amongst the Babkhi, Elw and Norse communities. There is perhaps a feeling that the drama, ostensibly a shallow science-fiction fantasy, is in some way prescient regarding the potential dangers faced by humanity as a consequence of the changes manifest in Lichbrook and Minarboria.

I Play Dead... It Stops the Hurting

I Play Dead... It Stops the Hurting is a TV series about the love story between Lady Noor and Aviel Muur.

Alice in Lichesland

Alice in Lichesland is a TV Series about a human girl who is called Alice Isurui and her joyous and jolly adventures among the Liches, Singers and various other sentient beings in Lichbrook and Minarboria. The series was, with the Leave of King Noah of Elwynn, commissioned by Kaiser Hjalmar by means of Imperial Decree 799 to promote harmonious relations between the various sentient beings of the Lands of the Golden Mango Throne and beyond.

The H-Team

The H-Team is a TV Series about about a fictional special police unit consisting of Cudgellers and Longships Guards who take on hateful insolent ingrates who attempt to cause disharmony between the various sentient beings of the Flower of the North. The series was, just like Alice in Lichesland and also with the Leave of King Noah of Elwynn, commissioned by Kaiser Hjalmar by means of Imperial Decree 799 to promote harmonious relations between the various sentient beings of the Lands of the Golden Mango Throne and beyond.

Trivia

The Elwynnese Commons were once memorably described to the hapless Shirerithian ambassador to Minarboria by an aide to Royana Dolordotch, who was noted for his lack of tact and easily challenged sobriety, as essentially boiling down to "one unreadable religious text, a slew of godawful poetry and a random sampling of Byeday television serials. Now I'm not saying that you've escaped from a sterile cultural desert, but really...". The comments were naturally disavowed by all present at the gala occasion[1] and the individual in question was hastily reassigned to other duties.

It is customary for broadcasts of these woeful programmes to be staged during the public holidays celebrating the Auspicious Occasion, whilst out of season screenings are usually hosted at Museums of Degenerate Vanic Art such as may be found in Eliria, Merensk, and Shirekeep. Plastic horned helmets and comedy breasts are not mandatory attire for such viewings but are strongly encouraged as adding to the ambience of the occasion.
