The Freedom Front of Shimmerspring (FFS) is a Communist guerrilla and independence movement based in the Sanaman federal territory Western Shimmerspring. It was formed following the annexation of western Shimmerspring by Sanama in 1683. Its stated goal is to establish a Communist independent state in Shimmerspring, encompassing both halves of the former county. The appeal of the movement cuts across ethnic lines, instead focusing on opposition to the imperialist oppression from Sanama and Drak-Modan. It is currently (1683) classed as a terrorist organisation by Sanama.
