The national flag of Xang Muang consists of two unequal horizontal bands of blue and red and a yellow square the same height as the blue band in the canton, which bears a white depiction of an elephant. The flag was adopted in 6133 ASC.
Construction
The flag of Xang Muang has an overall ratio of 2:3. The bottom band of red has a 1:3 ratio, while the top band of blue has a 1:2 ratio, with the yellow section by the hoist being a 1:1 ratio square. The elephant image in the yellow square has no codified size ratio or specific appearance, and is occasionally omitted entirely for smaller versions of the flag, but should always be coloured white and be facing the hoist if included.

While the exact colours for the flag are not official, the Xangese government uses the following for all its usages:
The Xangese government's explanation of the flag's colours' symbolism is red to represent courage and community, blue to represent liberty, and yellow to represent Atos and a prosperous future. The elephant's inclusion signifies the Xang people, who call themselves "elephant people" in their own language, and strength, while its white colouring represents peace.
Emblem
The yellow square with white elephant image section of the Xangese flag has also been adopted as the nation's official governmental emblem.
