Constitution of the Fédération Micraise de Tennis

I. The Organisation
a. The Organisation shall be known as the Fédération Micraise de Tennis, or “the FMT”.
b. The FMT shall oversee the running of tennis at all levels on Micras.

II. The Executive Committee
a. The FMT shall be run by an Executive Committee of six members. These shall be:
i. President
ii. Vice President
iii. Statistics Officer
iv. Public Relations Officer
v. Ranking Member
vi. Junior Member
b. These members shall be entitled to one vote each.
c. All votes shall require a majority of the voting members present to pass. The President shall have the deciding vote if a vote finishes with an equal number of votes for and against.
d. New members of the Executive Committee are appointed by a majority vote of the Executive Committee.
e. A Member of the Executive Committee may be removed by a no confidence vote of over half of Executives, or by a two-thirds majority of all Full Members.
f. The FMT Executive Committee may, from time to time, decide to create additional non-Executive positions, in order to help with the day-to-day running of the FMT. These positions can be created and abolished by a majority vote of the Committee at any time.
g. Non-Executive Committee members are permitted to make proposals to the Executive Committee, but are not permitted to vote.
h. The Executive Committee can once per year name one male and one female player as “World Champion”. When picking the player, special consideration shall be given to the performance in the Grand Slam competitions and the Nations Cup.

III. The Structure
a. The FMT shall be divided into four Zones. These shall be:
i. The Benacia Zone
ii. The Apollonia Zone
iii. The Cibola, Tapfer and Eura Zone
iv. The Keltia and Corum Zone

IV. Membership
a. All sovereign nations on the Micronational Cartography Society Claimsmap shall be automatically granted full FMT membership.
b. Dependent territories may be granted Full Membership pending approval from the Executive Committee or the FMT President.
c. Members shall be assigned a zone based on geographical location on the MCS Claimsmap.
d. A Full Member may revoke their membership of the FMT at any time, however, they will be demoted to Probationary Member status until they have completed all of their tournament obligations.
e. A Member that is removed from the MCS Claimsmap will be demoted to Probationary Member status until they have completed all of their tournament obligations. After that they will be completely removed.

V. Amendments to the Constitution
a. Any amendment to this constitution must be ratified by a majority of at least two-thirds of the Executive Committee, or three-fourths of all Full Members.
b. Amendments by Full Members may only be made at the Annual General Meeting, held in December of each year.
