ESB Voluntary Labour Organisation (Keltia)

The purpose of this enterprise, a subsidiary of the Keltian Directorate of the Honourable Company, is to undertake the direct recruitment of volunteers from amongst the communities of the ungoverned spaces of Keltia. The purpose of this recruitment being to expand the pool of manpower available for the performance of paid day labour in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors of the economy of Alduria-Wechua, as necessitated by the removal of Alduro-Wechuan citizens from the industrial workforce through the demands of rapid military and colonial expansion.

Volunteer labourers who have signed on with the Honourable Company receive a monthly stipend, inclusive of living expenses borne by the Honourable Company, free accommodation and medical care, protection under law as guest workers in Alduria-Wechua, and valuable work experience contributing towards a ten year apprenticeship in the service of the Honourable Company. At the conclusion of the ten year term of service the journeyman labourer shall receive the balance of any accrued pay, less expenses, that was earned in excess of the mandated stipend, a gilt-edged parchment scroll of certification, and ESB sponsorship for naturalisation as a citizen of Alduria-Wechua, under the anticipated "Law of Graces", and resettlement in one of the colonial territories established under the new foundations.
