Dragomir Icărușîi is a diplomat of the Republic of Nova Caradia who was appointed the representative with plenipotentiary powers of the republic to the Micras Treaty Organization. Previous to this, he served as an advisor to Baron Pedro Osè du Lumina Coramen of the Salòdica Barony in the Duchy of Caradia.

Early Life

Dragomir Icărușîi was born Dragomir Zdravac Icărușîi Lupei to the noble Lord Padul Lupei and Lady Iohanna Lupei of the Caradian city of Togărest. As the son of a noble household, Dragomir was offered free education throughout his mandatory education and onto higher education at the University of the Viscounty of Rovighi, where he would get a doctorate in political science and received an "honourable citation", a Caradian distinction for exemplary performance in a field of study one is not formally in classes for, in noble conduct. Dragomir, intending to follow his family and end up in nobility politics in Rovighi, took up working alongside his parents in the administration of the city of Togărest. When the Duchy was opened to the wider world by Duke Alecsi XIV, Dragomir, exposed to foreign political ideas, took on a more moderate view of politics and left Togărest to study at the newly-built Institute for Foreign Study in Relacul, deferring his position as heir to the lordship of Togărest to his younger sister.

Career

Dragomir left to the Caradian colony of Porto Vormouna soon after its founding, and competed with other nobles in a sought position as the advisor to the Baron of Salòdica, Pedro Osè du Lumina Coramen. Pedro would choose Dragomir as his advisor, though the moderate political ideology of Icărușîi clashed often with the highly conservative and authoritarian ideals of Coramen, causing a fractious air between the two much of the time.

Dragomir was still in the city when it came under attack by Xenoclastic rebels at the onset of the Caradian Civil War, during which Baron Pedro Coramen would die in a missile strike on his residence. Dragomir took residence in the shelter organised by then King-Saint Godrîc XI, now King Nicolae I, and continued living in the shelter until the King ordered a retreat to the open and green areas in the south of Eura, when he would be one of the many carried by the King's flagship to the settlements in Nova Caradia.

In Nova Caradia, Dragomir proved his political aptitude and had originally intended to join the Partid Regalist, though he would in actuality eventually join the Unită Caradia party which was most in accord with his moderate policy. He would then work in the administration of the city of Brațav, including a failed run for Domn of the city, before being appointed as representative to the MTO after the republic's application to the organisation was accepted.
