A daor is a fictional, Jingdaoese year. In earth time it's the equivalent of a real week. A daor starts on Saturday and ends on Friday.
The starting date of the calendar is November the 12th 2011. In South Batavian Catologism, this is the day that Germania started to unleash her wrath, in South Batavian political history it is the day that the civil war begun. Historians have been unable to discover what event actually inspired the creation of this new calendar.
