The Cynulliad Cenedlaethol election of 1685 were the first elections held in Calbion for the unicameral parliament following the independence from Arcadia in the same year. It replaced the rump assembly that was instituted under Arcadian occupation. The elections were overseen by the Council for Calbain Restoration that took charge of the peaceful political transfer to independence. The elections resulted in a massive victory for the nationalist faction, under the leadership of Evyn Drakeford.
