Competition format

A total of four athletes competed in the competition. The tournaments was held as a round-robin, with each competitor playing the others once each, totalling three matches per competitor and six matches overall. The participants were ranked by number of wins.

Each fixture involved fifteen rounds; ten letters rounds, four numbers rounds and a final "conundrum" round.
