The Offering Paw, the emblem of the Speakers of the Çerid.

While Çeridgul does not, strictly speaking, have an official government emblem or coat of arms, the symbol of the Offering Paw perhaps comes closest in concept. It depicts a stylized Çer forepaw, palm upward toward the viewer, displaying gifts; the paw is in red on a white square field, itself bordered by red.

It has been used, mostly in foreign relations contexts, to represent the Household of the Great Speaker, but domestically is usually seen in the form of carved and painted wooden pendants, worn by those who have been acknowledged as Speakers, as opposed to those such as scribes who are not Speakers but work for the Household.
