The Chrysean credit (CYC), originally named crisis credit in 1685 as a temporary currency of the short-lived United Benacian Republic, is the currency of Chryse. It was established upon the collapse of Gran Verionia in 1685 as an emergency currency with sole legal tender in the United Benacian Republic. In its firth month of circulation, inflation increased about 125% before stabilizing. A few weeks later, the United Benacian Republic collapsed, and the crisis credit became a permanent currency of Chryse. Its name was changed at the same time.
