The Caputian Performing Technology and Arts School (commonly known as CapTAS) is a Caputian performing arts and technology school located in the city of Blakestown, Northpass, with a mandate to provide education and vocational training for the performing arts, media, art and design and the technologies that make performance possible. The school is very selective in its intake, and notable for its numerous famous alumni, including actress Sophie Valverde, actress Sarah Hansen, actor Luis Murat, singer Belicia, among others.
Established in 1660 under the auspices of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the school is funded by the Caputian Government with support from the state governments of Anglia & Israat, Haifa, Northpass, and Zalae.
CapTAS is remarkable because once a student has passed its rigorous admissions process, it is free to attend for any Caputian citizen. There are only two other performing arts and technology schools in the country that are free to attend: the Zalae Performance & Art Institute, and the Judah Film School.
