The Benacian Reconquest, also known as the Resettlement of Inner Benacia, is the term used to describe the period of fifty-five years AN between the fall of Ashkenatza in 1605 and the occupation of Fort Ermingander by unknown parties in late 1660, signifying the closure of the lawless Inner Benacian Quarantine Zone and its replacement by broadly viable settled states. The term is also used in a Shirerithian context to refer to the period of twelve years (1639–1651 AN) in which the centralising Imperialists overcame the particularist and federalist factions ending the quasi-independence of Shireroth's Imperial States and establishing in the process a hegemony over two-thirds of the Benacian continent.

Kalgachi historiography, in keeping with its esoteric precepts, variously records this period as the Replanting and the Arduous Schlep, the latter term referring particularly to the period of Kalgachia's own foundation in the wake of the collapse of the Empire of Minarboria, the first post-Ashkenatzim state in central Benacia of any consequence.

For the Batavians of western Benacia the period saw the collapse of their own independent Kingdom, subsequently partitioned between Jingdao, Vanic-Elwynn, and later direct Imperial rule from Shirekeep after the Auspicious Occasion of 1651. The impulse to rediscover some measure of political independence and cultural autonomy led to two separate migrations into the former Ashkenatzim territories, resulting in the creation of Kasterburg and the Transbataafsche Vrystaat respectively.

The work of the reconquest was subsequently decisively undone by the Kalirion Fracture of 1671 AN.
