Baydrak Radishi is a former soldier in the navy of the Ciric Confederacy, and the current leader of the Frostmongers. Baydrak is a veteran of active service in the Ciric navy, ironically being a key component of a flotilla of ships once dedicated to fighting piratical forces in the antarctic seas, having served as a commander on the Paroka class battlecruiser SCV Vigilance. Following his dishonourable discharge for being convicted of second-degree murder, after killing one of his superiors (the honourable Captain Balaam Adaar, who was buried at sea with full honours), Baydrak fled the confederacy, and was found stranded in the open sea on a hijacked Arvar class patrol boat by the Frostmongers.

Baydrak's subsequent demonstrations of ruthlessness, both through his methods of extortion of information from the crew of captured shipping vessels (shipping times, routes, etc.) propelled him through the social pecking order of the Frostmongers, eventually leading to his promotion to the rank of Kai-Shoq, giving him de facto authority over the groups of the Frostmongers, though, as the Frostmongers technically do not have a formal ranking system, his position is quite unstable. However, he has thus far proving very difficult for aspiring Kai-Shoq to defeat, having thwarted fourteen separate assassination attempts from various other members of the Frostmongers. The intestines of these fourteen were later found frozen near the shore of Caradia, wrapped in a bag of flayed skin.
