Aurochs Bros. Bagels is a privately held restaurant chain owned and operated by the Xanthorr family based in Aurochsburg, Sororiya, Natopia.

History

Parthenius Xanthorr first started selling bagels out of his kitchen in 1619. Within a few years he had opened a small bakery in his hometown Aurochsburg selling bagels. The abundance and quality of Sororiyan wheat made baked goods from Sororiya exceptional. His cousin, Quintus Xanthorr, convinced Pathenius to go into business with him and open a few more bakeries. In 1621, Xanthorr's Bagel Bakery opened in Eucal, and soon the popularity of the bagels spread to Yellow Island. By 1623 franchise requests were coming in to the cousins. Quintus decided that, to have more broad appeal, the bakery should be rebranded to Aurochs Bros. Bagels. Soon locations opened up across Sororiya and Hazelwood. The chain enjoyed regional success.

Popularity

Although never explicitly endorsed by the Waffel-Paine family, Naian Waffel-Paine frequently ate at Aurochs Bros while he lived in Oakham. When a location opened up in the suburbs of Lindstrom, he requested a fresh dozen delivered every day to Vista de Nada. A location was soon opened near the palace and Frenzy at Angus Street and Empire Avenue in 1624. The downtown Lindstrom location soon became the flagship store and remains corporately owned and operated.

Ownership

The current owner is the daughter of Quintus Xanthorr, Chilonis Spinifex-Xanthorr, a role she inherited upon her father's retirement in 1673. She has aggressively expanded the chain throughout Natopia and penetrated into other Raspur Pact markets.

Menu

Aurochs Bros. Bagels only serves bagels. Some locations serve juice. All locations offer the same three varieties: plain, everything, and cherry. Many locations offer local flavors to appeal to the local customs, cuisines, and tastes.

Logistics

All bagels are produced in a central bagel proofing facility located in each major city. These facilities serve as distribution hubs that ship raw bagel dough to each location to be boiled onsite. The majority of Aurochs Bros. Bagels locations are drive-thru only, with most of the property reserved for product refrigeration and preparation.
