1672 Elwynnese congress election
Elections were held for the first Congress of the Elwynnese Republic on 9.XIII.1672.
Background
After the establishment of the Elwynnese Republic, the various parties agreed on a constitution, in which the northern half of Elwynn would be governed by a Congress and a government responsible to the congress. The newly elected congress will meet on I.XIV.1672 in Eliria for its first session.
Results
Elections were disturbed in Raikoth, Leng, and parts of Wintergleam due to the presence of non-Elwynnese armed militias.

Aftermath
The VU and AIP agreed to bring forward Stephen Lewis (VU) as their nominee for Conducator of the Elwynnese Republic (chief of government of the northern portion of Elwynn), and to form a coalition government (National Vanguard of Elwynn) together with the Elwynnese Workers' Party.
