Ábbad is the capital and second largest city and capital within the nation of Palesmenia. The city has a rich history, being the capital of two nations that fell long before Palesmenia's creation.

History

The city was formerly the site of the capitals of Kampong (Chinang) and The Kingdom of Uantir (Castle Uantir). After both of these cities fell into ruin due to the collapse of the rest of their nations, the Palesmenian people came to settle the land. The beginning of the modern-day city begins here, as well as it's name. Ábbad came into popular use as more settlers came into the city and misinterpreting the local tribal name (Anbárd). After the unification campaigns of Nasser I, the city became the capital of a united Palesmenia due to the it's strategic location.

Ábbad Today

Today the city is a booming center of art, culture, and music. The city is also regarded as the financial capital of the country. However, ghettos are common within the western part of the cities due to the lack of funding of these areas.
