The Imperial Expedition to Kasterburg was an attempt by the Imperial Government, supported by the ESB Group, to establish communications with a statelet rumoured to be taking shame in the strategic Poroly Gap, a stretch of the inner-Benacian "Green" (ungoverned space) which divided the Lywall Protectorate from Shirerithian occupied Batavia.
