Chopras Pirates
The Chopras Pirates are a coastal professional soccer team that belongs to the Sayaffallan Royal League association located in Chopras, Sayaffallah.
History
The Chopras Pirates were founded in 1861 by a group of shipping magnates in the beautiful coastal town of Chopras. The team started with a large amount of interest with over 60,000 people attending their first game in 1862 at a makeshift pitch constructed on land owned by the magnates just outside the city limits. The Chopras Pirates expanded in 1905 to a new stadium capable of accommodating 80,000 people. By 1965 the stadium again began to face capacity issues and was renovated and expanded to a new size capable of holding 110,000 people.

Stadium
The Galleon as the stadium is known is a large stadium suspended out over Chopras Bay with over 9 slips for yachts and small scale recreational boats to dock for game day events. The stadium is capable of holding approximately 140,000 people making it the 3rd largest stadium in Sayaffallah. Chopras Stadium includes a large seafood restaurant on the end facing the bay with views extending into the stadium and large terraces for ticketed spectators to enjoy the game day experience and atmosphere on the bay from. The Chopras Bay is a saltwater bay so frequently dolphins can be seen jumping in the waters outside of the stadium and the occasional whales can be seen breaching as well.
