Crown protection is a term that is limited strictly to the nation of Sayaffallah that simply means a region is placed under the oversight of the Monarch/Sultan and that in the event of emergency the Sultan provides it with complete support whether it be in the form of the Royal Army or other military branches or large outflows of money.

Permanent Crown Protectorates

The official crest of a Crown Protectorate which is affixed on all regional buildings in a crown protectorate and also on the oval coin unique to Crown Protectorates

Sultan Province is considered a permanent crown protectorate because it is the location of the capital Bellissimomare and thus under the governance of the Crown Prince of the Royal Family. The Sultan Province does not have a regional provincial police but instead its law enforcement body is provided by an extension of the Royal Guard whose parent organization is responsible for the security of all immediate royal family members, their residences and travels.

As permanent crown protectorate it also receives a tax free status for all purchases and goods within its territorial limits. The Sultan province is the only such province given a permanent designation regardless of any disaster related event requiring it to be implemented. Crown Protectorates have its own single coin within the currency of Sayaffallah specifically in the shape of an oval of solid gold dimensions bearing the symbol seen in the photo to the right on front and back. The coin is worth the equivalent of 100 in the regular state currency ($100USD/€94.00/£82.00) and is issued sparingly typically only 150,000 are issued each year but under state law they are prohibited from being resold higher or lower than their intended value thus making collecting and selling a piece of crown currency a punishable state offence.
