The Federal Wildlife Bureau (FWB) is the principal federal agency responsible for wildlife conservation, protection, and management throughout the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Established in 1702 AN as a reorganization of the former Department of Interior Wildlife Service, the Bureau operates under the jurisdiction of the Department of Interior, working closely and in coordination with the Department of Energy and Environment. The FWB manages 217 wildlife refuges, 42 conservation areas, and 19 marine protected zones across all twelve Regions of the Federation, encompassing approximately 68 million hectares of land and water.
Headquartered in the Rimarima Wildlife Complex in the Region of the Wechua Nation, the Bureau employs nearly 9,000 staff including biologists, conservation officers, policy specialists, and park rangers. The FWB is organized into four main divisions: Habitat Conservation, Species Management, Law Enforcement, and Public Engagement. Following the Biodiversity Protection Act, 1722, the Bureau received expanded authority to address threats to native species and ecosystems, with particular emphasis on preserving endemic wildlife in the Federation's diverse bioregions spanning from Alduria's to Boriquén.
