The Nouvelle Alexandrie Fusion Initiative (abbreviated as NAFI) is a groundbreaking nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject based in Cárdenas, Nouvelle Alexandrie. Launched in 1725 AN, NAFI aims to harness the power of nuclear fusion, replicating the energy-generating processes of stars, to provide a sustainable and virtually limitless source of clean energy. It represents one of the most ambitious scientific endeavors in Nouvelle Alexandrie's history.

Project Overview
The NAFI project is centered around the construction and operation of an experimental fusion reactor, known as the NAFI Reactor. This reactor is designed to use a magnetic confinement method, specifically employing a tokamak design, to achieve high-temperature plasma conditions necessary for fusion reactions.
