Nationalerarbeitsdienst

The Nationalerarbeitsdienst, NAD (Common Tongue: National Labor Service) is a labor organization based in the United Principalities of Cibola. It was founded as a way to combat unemployment and to assist in the construction of infrastructure throughout the nation. Men aged 18 to 55 are able to join the NAD and young men at conscription age are given the option to serve in the NAD instead of the Kriegstruppen. However, according to some, the NAD is often more dangerous and grueling than serving in the Kaiser's Army.

NAD employees, in return for at least 8 months service, are given among the highest tier of health and life insurance in the nation, known as Arbeitsdienstversicherung. Workers are given identification cards that they may present to medical providers when needed, and will be given a significant discount on their medical bills.
