William Derrick Alfe (b. 1681 AN) is an Aerlan police official who is currently serving as the Direktar of the State Security Directorate, the nation's top security service.
Much information surrounding Alfe's personal life is shrouded in secrecy, with even the name of "William Alfe" being rumored to be an alias. All that is known about his early career was that served as a police chief in the city of Harriston before Aerla's independence. Alfe was a member of the SSD's predecessor agency, the State Bureau for National Security, where he operated under the cover name Bighorn. When the SBNS was reformed into the SSD in 1711 AN, Alfe was appointed its director.
