The North-Central Apollonian Ice Patrol (NCAIP) is a maritime, weather and reconnaissance organization dedicated to monitoring ice hazards in the Northern Sea aboveMeckelnburgh, Lac Glacei and the Prince-Archabbacy of Salem. The Patrol was founded by the Royal Meckelnburgh Saeweard to address the unique challenges posed by ice navigation in this area, near the permanently frozen polar ice cap. Potential hazards include drifting icebergs, seasonal ice formations, and changing ice conditions, The Ice Patrol plays a critical role facilitating safe navigation through icy waters.

The mission of the Ice Patrol is to provide accurate and up-to-date open-source information on ice conditions within the Northern Sea from Tallandor Bay to the Clear Sea. This information is publicly available for use by all private, public or governmental entities. It is crucial for ships transiting through these waters, as ice hazards can pose significant threats to vessel integrity and crew safety. By monitoring relevant ice-related data, the Ice Patrol aims to enable informed decision-making and safe passage for maritime traffic.

The Ice Patrol operates an ice surveillance and monitoring system.
