The mark of the Mistress

The mark of the Mistress is a magical amulet that is worn by witches who have been initiated into the rites of the Coven of the Eternal Mistress. The amulet is made out of pink quartz and silver and charged with magical energy in a ceremony in the Eye. Only the person who wore the amulet during the consecration ritual can wear it, as the amulet will attempt to kill anyone who tries to steal it. Wearing the amulet protects the wearer from some of the dangerous fauna on the island, such as magenta scorpions and magenta crows.
