Setting of the Lanzerwald

The Lanzerwald project is meant to bring a people to Micras that has characteristics of the following Earth groups:

• the technological prowess of the Amish;
• the theological flexibility of Calvinists in the Dutch church history;
• etc;

Technology in the Lanzerwald:

• does not use internal combustion engines at all;
• steam power is used for industry, but not for transportation over either sea, road or rails;
• no synthetic materials are used, only natural materials and metals;
• electricity and electronics are not used.
