An example of a security box

A security box is typically a subdivided cubicle with exterior doors that rises up from the ground in the event of an emergency. In 2002 the Parliament of the Nation of Sayaffallah required them to be installed in all public spaces in Sayaffallah in which a crowd in excess of 500 people could potentially be present.

Once the box is up during an emergency situation such as an active shooter an individual steps inside and the door closes shut once it recognizes a human is on the sensor and once shut a small odorless & non visible and harmless gas is emitted into the box rendering the person into a sleep-like state and the box becomes a fortress of protection for the individual inside of it during an active shooter situation. The boxes can withstand direct bomb blasts and heavy gunfire even direct gunfire at all times.

To awaken an individual the person only need be given a simple saline IV drip for an hour and the saline will interact with the limited gas exposure the person had rendering them conscious and alert with no side effects whatsoever. In the absence of a saline drip the person will wake up naturally in 28 hours time. Once activated the boxes transmit the vital signs of the individual inside to medical personnel in the crisis response center at each regional hospital informing them of an emergency event and the need for emergency personnel to be dispatched immediately.
