In the following year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, the team improved and finished third in their six-team group with 15 points. Alrig was annexed by Jingdao later in the year.
In the 2021 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, the team finished third in their five-team group with eleven points. Later in the year, Alrig became an autonomous region of Great Apollonia, after Jingdao joined with Çakaristan, and retained its separate FMF membership.
In early 2022, prior to the start of the year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, Alrig became a protectorate of the newly-independent Kildare.
