Department of Justice (Nouvelle Alexandrie)
The Department of Justice is the department that is in charge of federal law and the administration of justice in Nouvelle Alexandrie. The department is also in charge of the federal judiciary, the court system, and prisons and probation.
The department is headed by a Secretary of Justice, who is appointed by the King on the advice of the President of the Government. The Secretary of Justice is a member of the Council of State. The department is equivalent to a justice ministry in other nations.
The Department of the Justice is headquartered at Battensworth House, a large government office building near the city center of Cárdenas, FCD. The department was established in 1685 AN as one of the original departments in the first Council of State.
