Kaiser Gaelen II consolidated all imperial power and began ruling by decree. He issued the first imperial decrees in modern Shireroth: Imperial Decree 1,2,3,4, and 5, which included . Having no children of his own, the line of his father having thus died out, he willed the throne to Nick of Yardistan; however in the end, by reasons lost to history, upon his death, his cousin Ari Ly'Technomaezj ascended the throne in 1466 as Kaiser Ari 0.
