Hydrosmith

The Hydrosmiths are a corpus of hydrological engineers used by Steve to alter waterways and lakes to match his preferences. As with all Steve corpora, he selects them for bodily compatibility and ergonomics with existing hardware, and each body is used for several decades in various engineering tasks. The Visitor State can not confirm that they are not partially modified biologically or cybernetically, as their longevity and vigor at their tasks seems difficult to explain otherwise.

Hydrosmiths use excavators, dredges, and explosives, as well as build dams, seawalls, breakwaters and other structures, to draw the line between land and water. They are responsible for accomplishments that have changed Steve landscape such as the dam Rock In A Wet Place, and the powered circular river Round And Round.
