1686 Assembléa Nazionale election
The 1686 Assembléa Nazionale election was the third open election held in the Tellian Confederation to establish the Assembléa Nazionale parliament. Held under a mixed-member proportional representation system, the assembly's 500 seats were split between ten constituencies whose seats are allocated by respective population.
The election resulted in the Labour Party gaining the most seats, with the party entering into a minority coalition government alongside both the Liberal Party and Communist Party in what has come to be known as the Socialist Alliance.
