Pius II, known before taking up the office of Patriarch - or pope - within the Catologian Church as Peter Ian Bursau, was a leading clergyman within the Holy Catologian Church, a short-lived attempt to unite the diverse branches of Catologism, which was part of the political ambitions of the House of Vinandy.
