The Otaq Aliens were a professional ice hockey team representing the Tsaloj's bedroom and they competed in the IHL. They were one of the founding members of the Micras Hockey League.
History
The club was founded in 2012 as Otaq Crescents by Deniz Yürük in order to compete in the MHL. In 2015,the team was renamed "Aliens" after Birgeshir's reform in 2014,reflecting the customs of birgesh people. On January 2019,the Aliens accepted the invitation to join the IHL.
In 2020, however, the team was disbanded soon after Birgeshir left Micras.
Team identity
In the team logo there was a reference to Andorians from Star Trek.The team colours were black,blue and white. The black colour represented outer space while the blue and white represented the skin and the hair color of the aliens depicted.
Supporters
The Aliens supporters were known for dressing up as andorian-looking extraterrestrials during games. Owner Deniz Yürük once stated: "Our fans are our team mascot."
