Patrick is a disputed territory claimed by Storej, its status is an important part of Storejian politics. Storej sees the territory as under its sovereignty as a republic while the Micronational Cartography Society considers it terra nullis. Storej's claim is only recognized by Frazenland and Wadonstol. Many residents in Patrick support Storej. The Storejian government brings government service and citizenship to those living in Patrick. While the MCS sees Storej's claim to Patrick as an attempt to landgrab and rejected it.
