The office of Statthalterin of Sankt Ludwigshafen is the supreme executive function within the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The title literally means the placeholder as the stadtholder is expected to stand aside should the Siseranist Principality of Walstadt be restored under the rule of the Blutwasser dynasty. The stadtholder signs all his decrees with im Namen des Sankt Ludwigs (in the name of Saint Ludwig).
