The National Corporate and Accounting Regulatory Agency (Abbreviation: NACARA) is a statutory board under the Ransenari Ministry of Trade and Finance. NACARA is the national regulator of business entities, public accountants, and corporate service providers in Ransenar. The Agency also plays the role of a facilitator for the development of business entities and the public accountancy profession. It is led by a Director that is appointed by the Minister of Trade and Finance.

As of 1679 AN, the Minister of Trade and Finance is Soroush Karimi (IDP). The Director of the National Corporate and Accounting Regulatory Agency is Sean Murphy.

History

NACARA was formed in 1674 AN as part of the economic reforms implemented early in the first O'Callaghan Government. The agency was formed through economic regulation established by the Transitional Government aiming to synergize the monitoring of companies’ compliance with disclosure requirements and the regulation of public accountants performing statutory audit.
