Proclamation of Goldshire Hamlet
The Proclamation of the Goldshire Hamlet, also known as the Ransenari Proclamation, was a document issued by the Ransenari Congress, the Ransenari Militia, and the Ransenari Defense Force in the city of Goldshire Hamlet in 1673 AN. The proclamation was further validated by the established Provisional Government of the Kingdom of Ransenar, led by Lord High Steward Séan O’Callaghan. The proclamation declared the establishment of the Kingdom of Ransenar, outlined the claims and borders of the Kingdom, and set into stone the "Union of Ransenar" doctrine as one of the highest aspirations of the new Kingdom.
Background
Printing and Distribution
The proclamation had been printed secretly for mass distribution in the cities of Teldrin, Lune Villa, Goldshire Hamlet, Goldfield, Wendor, Zolt, Sintan and Caer Ju'uliave by the localized IDP party offices by the direction of the Speaker of the Ransenari Congress. The proclamation was virtually a shoo-in for approval, and with minor changes occurring in the text done early in the debate stage, the printers could begin producing the printouts quickly. Because of its secret printing, problems arose which affected the layout and design. Each issuing city has a different design and layout, but the text is exactly the same as was passed by Congress.
Once the proclamation was ratified and read out loud to gathering crowds outside of Congress' meeting place in Goldshire Hamlet, the distribution of over 2,000,000 copies of the proclamation throughout Ransenar began. The proclamation was posted in every town square, bank, school, tavern, and brewery in Ransenar.
