The Napian Serie A is the top-tier football league in the Napian Micrasian Claim, run by the NVMFA. The league currently involves eight teams playing 14 games in each season. Traditionally starting in January, the season finishes in May, with most games being played on the weekends, in particular on Saturdays.
History
The Tellian Serie A was founded in late November 2011 as the top-tier league for NAPI and the NVMFA. This started an initial league of 8 teams, with a feeder side, Napian Serie B with 8 additional teams, both officiated by the NVMFA. Each team plays 14 games each per season, starting initially from January and ending in May. At the end of each season, 2 teams are relegated to Serie B, with the top two teams being promoted to the Serie A.
