2024–25 Season

The Iselande National Soccer League (Iselandic Soccer) is the sole association football league in Iselande and Salem, constituent countries of the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh. The league was organized in 2022 as a successor to Jääkieli football, the Valioliiga, following the rebuilding of the country after The Troubles.

It is organized by the East Meckelnburgh Soccer Association. The league hosts 21 clubs across the two levels of men's and single division of women's teams.

Organization

Iselandic soccer is organized in three divisions: 1. Division and 2. Division, and the women's league, each with eight teams.

Each season runs from September through May. All divisions play a 14-game season, in a two-round round-robin tournament. The three losing teams in men's 1. Division and the three winning teams in men's 2. Division are automatically relegated and promoted, respectively. The winning team of the men's 2. Division season is awarded the Winter Shield.

Tournaments

Two tournaments are played around the men's Iselandic Soccer season. The Grand Ducal Cup happens throughout the season and pits all 1. Division teams against each other in a single-elimination knockout tournament. As the first match before the next season, the champion of 1. Division and the winner of the Grand Ducal Cup play for the Iselandic Supercup in a final match.

The women's division also hosts an end-year single-elimination knockout tournament with all teams competing, with the winner earning the Mountain Trophy.

Teams

Men's

The men's league is made up of 13 clubs. All six former clubs of the Jääkieli Valioliiga continue play in Iselandic Soccer. In addition, Iselande's national U-21 football team, national women's football team, and the Salem national football team also play in the league.

Three clubs, Comrades Hellistelli, Fenixtune City SC and Fenixtune United SC represent the largest city, Fenixtune. There is also a club for the University of Jääland.
